I was thinking earlier about how cool it would be to live in a big city. Right now I live in a dinky little town. It has two(yes two) stoplights! So, very small, and because it's so small...there is NOTHING to do! If you want to do something like go to a movie or eat at a nice restaurant....you have to drive at least 45 minutes to do it. There are good things about a small town too though. It's quiet, everybody knows everybody.....well I guess that could be a good or bad thing...LOL!

I found out a few months back that a girl I went to high school moved to New York City. How cool is that! She wanted to be a photographer, so she just packed up and moved. That's pretty brave I think. I would imagine that there are a lot of people that do that though. There are a lot of people trying to make it in this world. I would imagine that the moving companies New York
has are pretty busy. I hope my friend does well, she's an excellent photographer.

One of these years I would at least like to visit New York City. I think that would be really fun. Maybe when the kids are older. That's what I always say..."maybe when the kids are older." LOL! I really do hope that we do though...I think it would be a great experience....

I found this today on CNN...thought it was kinda neat. It has a nice little success stories section that might be inspiring for someone. I read through them and they are pretty good. I needed a nice success story this evening, was feeling kind of down. So I thought you might too.. So go check them out, the articles are good too..

I love the weekend for many reasons. My husband being home is the biggest reason. I love to relax or go out on family outings. Usually we just end up going to mall or out to my husband's brother's house for some super competitive Wii playing. No matter where we go though, we always have fun, and we're together, that's the important part.

This weekend we have two things on the agenda. One is my husband's family reunion. Always lots of fun. The kids always have a blast with all the games and fun stuff going on. I'm sure this year won't be any different. The second thing we are doing is a bridal shower for my sister-in-law. It's just Kaitlin and I going to that one though..no boys allowed. That should be a lot of fun also.

In between there I'm going to try to talk the hubby into going and trying to find a cheap treadmill. I don't think it will be too hard though, he wants one too. Might also hit some yard sales and this big flea market thing going on. I'm always on the lookout for wholesale handbags. I love handbags. I have way too many! It's definitely an addiction..lol!
