Date Night With My Husband !

Guest post of the week by Ferdinand Livingston

Last night I was finally had a nice, relaxing night with my husband. "What's that?", you ask. It starts off with no kids! Thank god for grandparents living close by that are willing to have the kids dropped off to them. Then, the luxury of luxuries, a quick dash home to take a shower with no children interrupting me. The third wish that was granted, I officially called my diet off for the evening. Eating out is a great treat, there was no way I was going to worry about counting calories. After a quick checking of locked doors and setting the free alarmsystem, we were off.

The restaurant we chose, our favorite Italian place, Dominick's definitely does not have a menu that is great for my diet, so I was very happy I had already thrown the diet idea out. The food is rich and the sauce is thick and creamy, just what italian should be. The antipasto salad had great, fresh items. Huge olives and chunks of cheese made the salad have a great texture and strong flavors that were a great start to the meal.

As always, the atmosphere was perfect. Low lights set a romantic mood. Tables for 2 set in the back make sure that couples have privacy for the night. No paper napkins here, crisp white napkins and tablecloths signified that we were indeed at a grown up restaurant.

The night was wonderful. I dare say it was perfect. With a full belly and some time off from the little ones, we were a refreshed couple ready to take back the challenge of our babies for the night. We will definitely return there, the sooner the better!!
