My mom is talking right now about how she never had a close relationship with her grandparents, and how she wish she would of. I am very lucky to have had a very close relationship with my Grandma. My Grandma unfortunately passed away last year. Not only I was and my family extremely sad, but so was the whole nursing staff that took care of her for years. They loved her like a Grandma too. I recently ran into one of them up at the school and it brought back a lot of memories just her. I can't thank her enough for the great care that she gave my Grandma in the last year of her life.

I was thinking about sending some flowers up to the hospital for all the nurses, but I think I might wait for nurses appreciation week. I think they would love that. I'm sure my Grandma would of loved it too. My Grandma was an awesome woman. She made the best apple pie, she had a great sense of humor, and of course she spoiled me to death. I was by far her favorite. lol! Anyone have a Grandma that they would of to show some appreciation to? Leave a comment and tell me all about her!
